PM: Show loyalty on King's birthday

Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva calls on Thai people to show loyalty to His Majesty the King on the occasion of His Majesty's 83rd birthday on Sunday.

Mr Abhisit said during his weekly broadcast that people should adhere to the King's sufficiency economy philosophy.

"Many of His Majesty the King's royally initiated projects have benefitted the people of the country.

"Many of the projects have solved social and economic problems," the prime minister said.

Meanwhile, police said Arun Amarin and Ratchadamnoen roads will be closed from 10am to 12pm and from 5pm to 10pm for the King's birthday celebration.
